We provide a diverse range of compounds, the most rigid of which have tensile moduli greater than 22 000 Mpa.
The fibers used are fibers with sizing agent, which offer a perfect adhesion with the polymers. The main fibers used are glass fibers, basalt fibers and recycled carbon fibers. These fibers are incorporated in mass up to 60%.
Most of the materials in the ADDITEC® range have an exceedingly high flexural modulus. The polymers used are PA, PARA, POK, etc...
In addition to remarkably high stiffness, we also offer UL94 V0 flame retardant properties under our ADDIFLAM® brand.
These compounds are also available in assorted colors with or without UV protection to produce injection molded parts for indoor and outdoor applications.
Carbon fibers do not allow the realization of any other color than black but bring properties such as electrical conductivity, lightness and EMI shielding properties up to 30 dB at 2200 MHz.
These shielding properties are highly sought after to respond favorably to the electrical, electronics & appliances sectors as well as electric vehicle markets.
These compounds from the ADDITEC® range also allow the substitution of parts currently made of metal with a significant weight saving and favorable environmental impacts.
